Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, Nepal\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"With the sacred resolve to build a strong, prosperous and vibrant society based on the Hindu way of life and high human values, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh Nepal emerged in 2048 BS. Considering Hindu philosophy as its lifeblood, this organization is unwaveringly active in the great campaign of 'building a nation through the formation of individuals'. With the unwavering belief that only when the sense of equality in society, affection in the heart and brotherhood in action deepen, the Sangh is dedicated to the path of national service.\"<\/span><\/p>

The three words in the name of the Sangh\u2014'Hindu', 'volunteer', and 'Sangh'\u2014encompass its entire philosophy. The concept of 'Sangh' is to eliminate the feeling of \"I am alone\" prevalent in Hindu society and to create a sense of organized power. 'Swayamsevak' means a patriotic citizen who is dedicated to the nation and society with sacrifice and service without expecting any reward. The most important word 'Hindu' does not refer to any one sect but to the common identity, culture and outlook on life of this land, which is called 'Hindutva' and is considered the basis of nationalism.<\/span><\/p>

At the heart of the functioning of this organization is the 'Daily Branch'. This is a one-hour program, in which, through games, prayers and intellectual discussions, the values \u200b\u200bof patriotism, discipline, social harmony and service are instilled in the volunteers. The Sangh has established the 'Saffron Flag', a symbol of sacrifice, purity and valor, as the Guru, without accepting any person as a Guru, so that the ideal of Tattva Puja is established instead of individual worship.<\/span><\/p>

Its goal is to revive the glorious Hindu tradition of Nepal, to unite the youth in national unity through rituals, service and organization and to re-establish Nepal as a global center of Hindu culture.<\/span><\/p>

Nepal, which is known as the land of gods, the land of Vedas and the land of penance, where Hindu religion and culture have deep historical roots, the establishment of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, Nepal is considered particularly relevant.<\/span><\/p>

  • Background of establishment:<\/b> In recent decades, due to external cultural influences, materialism and changes in lifestyle, it was felt that the loyalty towards their culture, traditions and identity has decreased among the Nepali youth.<\/span><\/li>
  • Need: <\/b>Some conscious people felt the need for HSS in Nepal with the concern that if a new generation of cultured, service-minded and loyal to the society is not created, then the glorious Hindu heritage of Nepal will be confined to the history books only.<\/span><\/li>
  • Local form:<\/b> HSS Nepal has been established keeping in mind the social values \u200b\u200band lifestyle of Nepal within the local legal framework.<\/span><\/b><\/li>

    Sangh's working method and structure<\/b><\/p>

    The Sangh has developed a unique and effective working method to put its philosophy into practice, the center of which is the development of the individual.<\/span><\/p>

    Daily Branch: Program for Culture Development<\/b><\/p>

    The Daily Branch is the most important and basic program of the Sangh. It is a laboratory for the development of the individual.<\/span><\/p>

    • <\/b> Time and Discipline: <\/b>The branch meets every day for an hour at a fixed time. The practice of starting and ending on time develops the culture of punctuality and duty in the volunteers.<\/span><\/li>
    • Programs:<\/b> The branch has programs such as games, yoga, Surya Namaskar, songs, and intellectual discussions. These activities are designed for physical, mental, and intellectual development.<\/span><\/li>
    • Dedication to the Nation:<\/b> The branch instills the feeling that at least one hour out of 24 hours a day should be allocated for the nation and society. This is a one-hour 'nation-dedicated practice'.<\/span><\/li>
    • Practice of social harmony: <\/b>People of all castes, regions and languages \u200b\u200bplay, sit and stand together in the same row in the shakha. There is no place for casteism, untouchability or any kind of discrimination.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Concept of Guru: Saffron Flag<\/b><\/p>

      No individual is considered a Guru in the Sangh. Instead, the \"Saffron Flag\" symbolizing sacrifice, purity, valor and glorious tradition has been established as the Guru.<\/span><\/p>

      • End of personality worship:<\/b> Dr. Hedgewar broke the tradition of making an individual a Guru, seeing that personality worship could bring factions and divisions in the organization.<\/span><\/li>
      • Symbol of Tattva: <\/b>The saffron flag is a symbol of ancient culture since the Vedic period. It is indestructible and unchanging like a person, which provides inspiration for eternity.<\/span><\/li>
      • Guru Dakshina:<\/b> Volunteers make a financial dedication once a year with this saffron flag as a witness, which is called 'Guru Dakshina'. This makes the Sangh financially self-sufficient and develops a sense of sacrifice in the volunteers.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Sangh Rituals: An Unwritten Code of Conduct<\/b><\/p>

        The work of the Sangh is not just an ideology or an institution, it is a way of life. This system has evolved into the \"Sangh Rituals\", which, although unwritten, are very effective.<\/span><\/p>

        • Equality and Friendship:<\/b> All volunteers in the Sangh are equal and friends. Positions and responsibilities are for management only, not for any privilege.<\/span><\/li>
        • Non-Competition and Affection: <\/b>There is no competition among each other in the Sangh, due to which negative emotions like jealousy, hatred do not find a place. Relationships are based on affection and love.<\/span><\/li>
        • Discipline and obedience: <\/b>Sangh discipline is different from military discipline. It is not born of fear of punishment but of inner sanctum and devotion.<\/span><\/li>
        • Simplicity and frugality: <\/b>Sangh workers and preachers lead a simple life. They live and eat in the homes of the volunteers like family members, which fosters close relationships.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
